Principal’s Update
Dear families,
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break! It has been fantastic to see our students returning and settling back into their daily routines.
This term, we welcome Education Assistants Katie Collier (ES3) and Ruth Lambie (ES4). We wish Ms. Boynton and Ms. Lintern all the best as they begin their parental leave. Ms. Beckett will support Ms. Boynton’s role until the end of the year.
I look forward to welcoming all our families to the rescheduled Sports Carnival on 18th October 2024. This term, teachers are focusing on consolidating their teaching and assessing student progress in preparation for Reports, which will be sent out in Week 10.
Our amazing Year 6 students will celebrate their graduation on 10th December 2024, with more information to be shared with families soon. Please save the date for our end-of-term assembly on Wednesday, 11th December 2024, hosted by Room 15 and ES1. During this special assembly we will present our 2025 Student Leaders with their badges and celebrate our Year 6 students.
Kind regards,
Natasha Naylor

Year 6 Camp
This year’s Year 6 camp at Swan Valley Adventure Centre was a fantastic adventure filled with excitement and teamwork! We participated in Archery, where we learned the basics of aiming and shooting. Everyone had a blast trying to hit the target, and we were surprised by some hidden archery talents!
We splashed into the swimming pool to cool off and have fun together, it was a bit cold for some of us though. One of the highlights was the crate stack activity, where we teamed up to build the tallest structure possible. It tested our balance and teamwork, leading to some hilarious moments and a few wobbly crates!
The possum glider and flying fox gave us thrilling aerial views of the camp. Flying through the air was exhilarating, and everyone cheered for their friends as they took the leap. We also enjoyed a friendly game of frisbee golf, which combined strategy and skill. It was a great way to explore the grounds while engaging in some friendly competition.
We gathered around the campfire on the first night, sharing stories, and roasting marshmallows.
Overall, the camp was an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, challenges, and cherished memories.
